> Mountain Law “Compulsory equipment”.
The “mountain law” requires, from 1 November to 31 March, that private vehicles be equipped with :
4 winter or 4-season tyres which can be recognised by the “alpine symbol” + associated with “M+S”, “M.S” or “M&S”;
Or they must have chains or snow socks enabling them to equip at least two driving wheels.
A tolerance exists until 1 November 2024 for tyres that are only marked with “M+S”.
The resorts of the Drôme are concerned by this new measure. If you are not equipped, don’t worry, the snow shuttle takes you to the Col de Rousset and Font d’Urle.
