Discover nature escapes at Font d'Urle : a sporting and natural programme every Thursday from 17 July to 21 August 2025 !

This summer, the Environment Department and the Auberge des Dauphins, in partnership with the resorts of the Drôme, invite you to experience a series of 6 original events to explore the nature of the Font d'Urle plateau.

Accompanied by professionals, set off on a voyage of discovery through this spectacular region, combining sporting activities and immersion in the breathtaking scenery.

Programme of nature escapes :

• The Karst Trail (Thursday 17 July and 31 July)
  Discover the mysteries of the Font d'Urle limestone plateau, shaped by water. Accompanied by a scientific mediator and a mountain guide, you'll explore caves, underground rivers and sinkholes.
• The plateau by mountain bike (Thursday 24 July and 15 August)
  Get on your mountain bike and ride along forest tracks and shady singles to discover some of the most famous places in the Vercors, such as Lente and Font d'Urle. A sporting experience supervised by the Les pieds sur terre guide office. Mountain bikes available for hire on reservation.
• Under the plateau : introduction to caving (Thursday 7 August and 21 August)
  Explore the Glacière de Font d'Urle and learn more about karst and the underground ecosystem, with the Comité départemental de spéléologie.
